We had a table booked for us at 1pm when we got there we were informed that although they had our booking they had no table for us!
I am on a mobility scooter and we normally have table 1 as it is easy for me. We were offered a very small table next to the toilets which was very difficult for me. We were then told we needed to order at the bar and there would be quite a wait as they were busy.
We decided not to stay as we wouldn’t have been able to get 4 plates of food and drinks on the tiny table we had been given. As we walked out the manager spoke to us we told him why we were not staying, he didn’t even apologise.
We have used this pub for around 6 years but have never been treated like this.
There were none of the usual waitresses there who are normally very polite and really helpful.

The lady who served me was absolutely lovely, very helpful, and couldn't do enough. The food came out, and the chicken and ribs were lovely. I had the Megamix grill, and it was burnt, and it was disgusting. Nobody came over to the table and asked how the meal was at all. Asked about a container to take the rest of the ribs home, but I was told I could have some tin foil, so I waited 15 minutes, and then I left because I was sick of waiting.

The staff were all really good ,plenty of them and they all had a smile on their face ! Good food menu , with more veggie dishes than most other restaurants, plenty of traditional pub dishes and a really good desert menu , I have to return just to try the jam sponge and custard (I want to see what the custard portions are like, always a good test for me) The service was surprisingly fast considering they had a large wake party to attend to.

Always a friendly greeting from Martyn and his team, the fish and chips are our favourite , always large& fresh.
The new steak pies are delicious, less pastry and more meat.
Lovely atmosphere and always clean & tidy.

Pub was busy & lively. All staff were friendly. Our food was served quickly, was hot & tasty.

We visited here, 7 of us for lunch. On arrival I was a little worried, the place was packed out, I think a wake. We had a table booked and I needn't of worried. Yes the staff were very busy but there was no knock on effect to us. Our meals were delicious! So many chips on our plates! Really good prtion sizes. Thank you for a lovely lunch catch up with family!

Booked a table for four, arrived and was showed to our table, it didn’t look very clean though.
We were told there was no fish or scampi as the fryer had broken.
Found that the drinks were pretty pricey.
Food was really nice, staff very pleasant.

Visited Farmer John’s in Sutton Coldfield and had a great time. The Ultimate Ribs and Chicken Platter was excellent, especially the pork ribs, which were packed with flavor. Enjoyed it with a pint, making for a satisfying meal.
Service was friendly and efficient, with food arriving quickly. The atmosphere is always enjoyable, making it a great spot to return to.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Food and service was great. But allowing dogs into a restaurant is not hygienic. 4 dogs in there and they were constantly barking at each other. At least 2 were sitting on chairs at the table. The owners and staff did nothing about it. I won't be going again if dogs are allowed in. Avoid

I love the fact that this pub is dog friendly. It's a real bonus. For this alone, I would recommend this pub to all my dog mom and dad's. The food is very exceptable and the service is also good. The drinks are a good price too, so all in all, it's a nice place to spend an hour or two.
